Dear Atherton Community, 

Thank you for visiting our website. Here you will find a snapshot of the wonderful opportunities offered to our students. As a small district, we pride ourselves on sustaining a supportive and nurturing environment where each student is recognized, supported, and celebrated as an individual. Our classrooms at both the elementary and secondary levels offer low staff-to-student ratios that provide personalized academic, social, and emotional experiences for all. We also offer a variety of athletics, student clubs, and activities for students. 

My career in education began as a high school English Language Arts teacher. My journey continued filling the roles of secondary school counselor, assistant principal, principal, and curriculum director before taking on my current role as Superintendent. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University, and an Education Specialist in Leadership degree from Oakland University. Through my education and experiences, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and opportunities, resulting in my commitment to providing equitable, inclusive, and personalized learning experiences for all.

As the Superintendent of Atherton Community Schools, I want to extend a warm welcome to students, families, staff, and community members. It is an honor to lead this outstanding district where students receive a high-quality education from talented caring staff members. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for our district, and I am confident that, together, we can empower every student to reach their full potential!
